| For | For: để giải thích hoặc mục đích |
| And | And: thêm/bổ sung thêm 1 thứ vào 1 thứ khác |
| Nor | Nor: được sử dụng bổ sung cho 1 ý phủ định vào ý phủ định đã được nêu trước đó. |
| But | But: sử dụng để diễn tả sự đối lập và trái nghĩa |
| Or | Or: sử dụng để trình bày, diễn tả thêm 1 lựa chọn khác |
| Yet | Yet: dùng để diễn tả một ý khác trái ngược với ý trước đó (tương tự “but”) |
| So | So: sử dụng để nói về một kết quả hoặc một ảnh hưởng của 1 hành động/sự việc diễn ra trước đó. |
